I have a few questions for you:
Q1: How much time do you spend arranging and re-arranging your fridge? You know, to get at what you want, find what you’re looking for, and make everything fit so that containers of sour cream don’t go flying to the floor.
Q2: Are you tired of having 3 random jars of capers because the first two disappeared into the depths of your fridge?
Q3: Do you like to entertain?
If you answered yes to one or all of the above then you’re just like me. Which is sort of depressing. Because who wants to get frustrated by a large appliance? After all, fridges are so pretty and helpful and I love them. They make me swoon a little bit and they hold all the delicious foods that I like to cook for my family.
Anyone who’s been to a big box hardware store has witnessed my leisurely—drooling—stroll through the appliance department. I love how they look, all sparkling and innovative. I just hate how cumbersome using them can be sometimes, especially refrigerators.
I’ve always thought it would be nice if my fridge actually helped make my life easier while I care for my family, as opposed to merely keeping my perishables cold and driving me crazy.
My dreams were answered last January when I visited CES (The Consumer Electronics Show) with Whirlpool and met my soulmate: the Whirlpool Smart French Door Refrigerator.
Good thing I’m going through a divorce, because I’m in love (so it’s not cheating).
This Whirlpool fridge fulfills my wants and needs in so many ways. Who knew there was a fridge out there that was just perfect for me? As soon as I saw the pantry style infinity slide shelves, I was hooked.
Let me walk you through the many reasons I covet a long-term relationship with this fridge.
Fact: The interior is designed with places to fit the foods we all use the most.
Fact: Whirlpool designers thought of everything we might want to feed our families— from the grocery produce aisle to our stocked pantries.
Fact: Every shelf, bin, or section in the French Door Refrigerator has been thoughtfully designed with access and visibility in mind, all so caring for our families is easier and more organized.
CHECK IT OUT:
Infinity slide shelves: Lining the perimeter of the fridge and easily adjusted with an easy glide or flip, I can move small items to the edges and big, commonly used items to the front. The shelves are spaced based on common sizes of food packaging which means that yogurts, jars of spaghetti sauce, egg cartons, and 12 packs of pop all fit perfectly.
Picture this: Orange juice, milk, pitchers of ice tea all in a horizontal row. No more taking out one or two bottles to reach the thing you want, which has inevitably ended up at the rear.
Perfect Places System: Everything has its place and every place has its thing. Your fridge and freezer are no longer a dumping ground or sad game of food rush hour. Instead, the thoughtful design has spots for whatever your family loves to eat and makes sure they can find it without driving you crazy.
Picture this: Your small items like cheese and snacks are nestled into treasure bins, while asymmetrical crispers are large enough to house celery and lettuce as well as having dividers to display commonly used produce in the front and your stock of apples in the back.
Mobile app with Party Mode: Once party mode is activated, you can make ice faster and reduce the coolness lost when a fridge is opened and closed over and over.
Picture this: NEVER RUNNING OUT OF ICE! (Or at least having ice made 30% faster!)
Smart Notifications: The mobile app ensures that you never miss a power or WiFi outage (oh… the horror). It also lets you know when your air and water filters need to be changed. If your fridge is a little sick the app will also display the fault code and let you schedule a service appointment.
Picture this: Your fridge helping you care for your family, every day.
I hate to say it but I don’t know if I’ve done this Whirlpool fridge justice. Let’s just say that if it was on Tinder, I’d swipe right. I’m looking towards many, many happy years of caring for each other together.
I think it’s time for a cold shower. Party mode, activate.
So, are you in the market for a new fridge? Is this the one for you?
